This event group contains two separate head-to-head goal-scoring comparisons at the 2026 FIFA World Cup: Salah vs. Mane (listed on Predict and Polymarket) and Mainoo vs. Modrić (listed on Limitless as three separate outcome markets). Both compare total goals scored by each player across all rounds of the main tournament.
This market will resolve to “Salah” if Mohamed Salah scores more goals than Sadio Mane through all rounds of the main tournament at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “Mane”. In the event of a tie this market will resolve to 50-50. If a player withdraws, or does not play for any reason, this market will resolve in favor of the opposing player. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if it cannot be determined which player scored more goals within that timeframe, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be the official results published by FIFA.

This market will resolve to "YES" if Kobbie Mainoo scores a strictly greater number of goals than Luka Modrić across all matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup main tournament. Goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count toward this market. This market will resolve as soon as both Kobbie Mainoo and Luka Modrić have completed their participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and official final goal totals are available. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, or official final goal totals for Kobbie Mainoo and Luka Modrić are not available within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Prediction markets like Polymarket and Predict often reflect different risk profiles and liquidity than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks apply fixed margins and regulatory constraints, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs in real time with minimal friction. For the Salah vs. Mane matchup, prediction market odds may lead or lag sportsbook lines depending on which venue attracts more informed volume. Direct comparison requires checking both simultaneously, as prediction markets can offer sharper pricing when deep liquidity exists around this specific head-to-head outcome.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Polymarket and Predict may show different implied probabilities due to variations in user base composition, fee structures, and available liquidity depth. Polymarket's larger user base and trading volume can produce tighter spreads and faster price discovery, while Predict may attract traders with different information sets or risk appetites. Regulatory differences, withdrawal mechanics, and platform-specific incentives also influence how each venue prices the Salah vs. Mane head-to-head, creating temporary arbitrage windows that traders can exploit across both platforms.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates affecting either player's availability or minutes, and early tournament performance. Strong goal-scoring runs by either Salah or Mane will shift market sentiment sharply. Tactical changes by their respective national teams, fixture difficulty, and knockout-stage advancement also influence scoring probability. Media narratives around form, competition for playing time, and head-to-head comparisons between the two players can trigger repricing. Late-tournament developments like eliminations or unexpected breakout performances will create final volatility before market resolution.
