This market will resolve to "YES" if Florian Wirtz records a strictly greater number of goal contributions (goals + assists) than Mohamed Salah across all matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup main tournament. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." Goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count toward this market. This market will resolve as soon as both Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah have completed their participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup and official final goal contribution totals are available. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, or official final goal contribution totals for Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah are not available within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "NO." The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from real-time trader activity and collective belief. This market reflects what thousands of informed participants believe about Wirtz's output relative to Salah's at the World Cup. Sportsbook odds may lag behind prediction market adjustments, since traders react instantly to breaking news, injury reports, and tactical developments. Comparing the two can reveal where public consensus diverges from professional oddsmakers' assessments.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly. Squad announcements and final roster confirmations will clarify which players are available and their likely playing time. Injury updates to either player or their key teammates affect expected output. Pre-tournament friendlies and qualifying performances provide form indicators. Tactical shifts by their national teams—such as a more attacking or defensive setup—influence scoring opportunities. Transfer news and club-level developments heading into the World Cup can also sway trader sentiment. Real-time tournament performance, including early-round goal tallies and assist rates, will drive the most dramatic repricing as the event unfolds.
