Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity depths, and fee structures, all of which influence price discovery. Polymarket's larger user base may drive tighter consensus, while Limitless may see wider swings if fewer traders are active. Settlement rules, platform UI, and promotional incentives also shape how participants value outcomes, creating natural arbitrage opportunities for traders monitoring both venues simultaneously.
Player injury announcements, recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and court surface preference shifts can all trigger significant repricing. Weather forecasts for the match day, seeding changes, or unexpected withdrawals would create sharp moves. Betting syndicates and professional traders often position ahead of major tournaments, so large block trades on either platform may signal informed positioning. Real-time match updates during play will also drive final-stage volatility as traders react to serve breaks and momentum swings.
