Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates independently with its own trader base, liquidity pools, and fee structures, so prices naturally diverge. Polymarket may attract different participant demographics or trading strategies than Limitless, leading to temporary mispricings. Regulatory nuances, platform-specific incentives, and order-book depth also influence how quickly prices converge. Arbitrage traders often exploit these gaps, but friction costs and platform withdrawal delays can prevent perfect alignment. Monitoring both venues helps you spot when one platform is pricing the outcome more efficiently than the other.
Several catalysts can shift trader sentiment before resolution. Recent player performance, injury updates, and practice-court observations typically drive early movement. Seeding changes, draw announcements, and head-to-head records often influence positioning. Closer to the match, weather forecasts, court surface conditions, and pre-match interviews can trigger repricing. Betting syndicate activity and sharp money flows on external sportsbooks may also signal information that traders incorporate. Monitoring tennis news, player social media, and tournament updates helps you stay ahead of market moves.
