This event group covers a Wimbledon WTA Women's Doubles match between Kato/Rakhimova and Perez/Schuurs scheduled for July 2, 2026 at 6:00 AM ET in the Round of 64. Markets track both the match winner and whether the match is completed under normal play conditions.
This market refers to the doubles tennis match between Kato/Rakhimova and Perez/Schuurs in the Wimbledon WTA, originally scheduled for July 2, 2026 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to 'Kato/Rakhimova' if the team of Kato/Rakhimova advances against Perez/Schuurs. This market will resolve to 'Perez/Schuurs' if the team of Perez/Schuurs advances against Kato/Rakhimova. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the team who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (a team withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the WTA Tour. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution requires that a ball be played in the match, establishing that the match has officially commenced. The winning pair is determined by standard professional tennis match rules. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or other cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. Postponements or delays do not close the market; it remains open and resolves after the rescheduled match concludes, provided this occurs within two weeks of the original date.
Polymarket and Kalshi attract different trader bases, liquidity profiles, and regulatory frameworks. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Polymarket typically draws larger volumes and more active arbitrageurs, which can tighten spreads; Kalshi's user base and order flow may price the same event differently based on who is actively trading. Fee structures, minimum bet sizes, and platform UI also influence where certain traders congregate. These structural differences mean identical events can trade at meaningfully different odds across venues, creating opportunities for alert traders to identify mispricings.
Player injuries, withdrawals, or illness announcements can shift odds significantly in the days before the match. Changes in seeding, draw position, or opponent strength may also influence trader positioning. Recent form, head-to-head records, and court surface performance (grass at Wimbledon favors certain playing styles) are live catalysts. Media coverage of player confidence, coaching changes, or partnership dynamics can sway sentiment. As the match date approaches, any news about player fitness or mental readiness will likely trigger repricing across both platforms.
