Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and risk appetites, causing temporary price gaps. Limitless and Polymarket may also enforce different market rules, fee structures, or position limits, which influences how aggressively traders arbitrage between them. Geographic restrictions, platform UI design, and the timing of large trades can amplify these differences. Savvy traders exploit these spreads by buying low on one venue and selling high on the other, though transaction costs and withdrawal delays often prevent perfect arbitrage.
Recent form, head-to-head records, and injury reports are primary catalysts that shift odds before the match starts. Court conditions, draw positioning, and seeding strength can also influence trader positioning. On match day, live score updates, momentum swings, and set outcomes drive real-time repricing as traders adjust their conviction based on unfolding play. Late-breaking news such as player illness, equipment issues, or weather delays may trigger sharp moves. Arbitrage activity between platforms can also create temporary price spikes as traders react to cross-venue opportunities.
