Intro

This market tracks the outcome of the Wimbledon 2026 Women's Singles Round of 64 match between Barbora Krejcikova and Mirra Andreeva. Across Limitless, Polymarket, and Kalshi, the aggregated consensus shows 100.0% probability for the listed matchup outcome, with resolution determined by the official WTA website. PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Three platforms apply fundamentally different resolution logic to walkover scenarios and match completion thresholds. Polymarket treats pre-match walkovers as 50-50, Kalshi requires ball-in-play for any resolution, and Limitless accepts any official winner declaration regardless of method.Hero tip: If a pre-match walkover occurs (withdrawal before July 1, 2026 09:03 UTC), expect Polymarket to resolve 50-50, Kalshi to resolve No, and Limitless to resolve to the advancing player. If retirement happens after play begins, all three platforms should resolve to the advancing player. Confirm withdrawal timing relative to scheduled start time to predict platform outcomes.

Critical divergence points:

  • Limitless: Accepts any official winner declaration as valid resolution, including walkover, retirement, default, or disqualification. No special treatment for non-completion scenarios.
  • Polymarket: Resolves to 50-50 for pre-match walkovers only; mid-match retirements resolve to advancing player. Also resolves to 50-50 if match delayed beyond 7 days without completion.
  • Kalshi: Requires a ball to be played in order for either player to win (Yes resolution). Incomplete matches, walkovers, and retirements before play begins imply No resolution.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price the same event differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus to discover price. Prediction markets often reflect sharper, more efficient pricing because traders risk real capital on accuracy rather than volume. However, sportsbooks may occasionally lead on breaking news or injury updates. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal where smart money is positioning relative to traditional betting markets.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Platform differences in liquidity, user base composition, and fee structures can create temporary price gaps. Polymarket and Kalshi may attract traders with different information sets or risk tolerances, causing one platform to price the outcome higher or lower than the other. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, but if capital is slow to move or if one platform has significantly lower volume, gaps can persist. Monitoring both venues helps you identify which platform is pricing the match more efficiently at any given moment.

Key catalysts include recent tournament results and head-to-head records, player injury announcements or fitness updates, and surface-specific performance data leading up to the match. Court conditions, weather forecasts, and draw positioning can also shift trader sentiment. Major upsets or unexpected retirements in related tournaments may influence confidence in either player. Media coverage highlighting form streaks or tactical matchups often triggers repricing. Monitor official tour announcements and credible sports journalism for developments that could materially alter the odds before the match begins.
