Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which naturally produces price variation. Polymarket may have deeper liquidity or more active participation from certain trader groups, while Limitless could reflect a smaller or differently composed user base. Geographic restrictions, platform-specific incentives, and timing of large trades can also cause temporary misalignment. These differences typically narrow as arbitrageurs exploit gaps, but they persist because each platform operates independently with its own order book and settlement rules.
Key catalysts include recent player performance, head-to-head history, court surface conditions, and injury reports. Draws announcements, seeding updates, and pre-tournament statements from either player can shift trader sentiment. Weather forecasts closer to the event date, betting action from professional syndicates, and developments in related markets may also influence pricing. Real-time match updates during play will drive the most dramatic moves, as traders react to serve performance, momentum swings, and set outcomes.
