Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and often incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to express their independent beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, as traders could potentially profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to note that sportsbooks and this market each have their own unique information and biases.

This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by which team wins the second half of the Willem II vs. Fortuna match. Official sources will be used to verify the outcome, and the platform will then settle the market accordingly. Traders who correctly predicted the result will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their stake.

Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team over the other. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, could dramatically alter the perceived probabilities and cause substantial price movements in this market. Public sentiment and late-breaking analysis could also contribute to shifts in trading activity.
