This market will resolve to "Yes" if a safety car is deployed at any point during the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 6, 2026. The market will resolve to "No" if the race is completed without any safety car deployment. If the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 13, 2026, this market will resolve 50-50. Virtual Safety Car (VSC) deployments do not count as safety car deployments for the purpose of this market. Only physical safety car deployments where the safety car enters the track will result in a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.

This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. A safety car is deployed if race officials decide it’s needed for safety — for example, due to accidents, debris, or hazardous conditions — and the market settles based on official race records showing whether that occurred during the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix.
Key signals that could shift this market include pre-race analyses, driver or team statements about high-risk strategies, early-race incidents, weather forecasts, and any rule changes affecting race safety protocols. Major crashes, track invasions, or severe weather warnings may push odds toward deployment, while smooth practice sessions and clear weather could pull them down. Any development affecting perceived race safety will influence trader behavior and market movement.
