Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market relies on individuals directly expressing their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the teams' strengths. If significant differences exist, it may indicate an opportunity for value betting, where one venue offers more favorable odds than the other. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of the same event occurring.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s current assessment of that score’s probability. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point where buyers and sellers agree. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, with increased buying pressure pushing prices up and increased selling pressure pushing them down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the latest information and opinions of participants.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Widzew Lodz vs. Wisla Krakow match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning share(s) in this market. The resolution will be based on official match data, ensuring a transparent and accurate outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for confirmation of the final score to understand when this market is settled and payouts are distributed.
