Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they are driven by trader sentiment rather than set by oddsmakers. While sportsbooks may offer spread or over/under lines, this market lets participants bet on the exact score, creating a more granular view of expectations. Traders can react faster to new information, which may cause odds to shift more dynamically than standard sportsbook offerings.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a decentralized process where traders submit bids and offers that determine the current probability distribution. The top outcome displayed reflects the aggregate belief of participants about the most likely exact score, with probabilities adjusting based on trading volume and recent bets. This mechanism allows rapid price changes in response to shifting opinions or new analysis.
