Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Limitless often reflect sharper, crowd-sourced consensus than traditional sportsbooks because traders have direct financial incentive to price outcomes accurately. Sportsbooks typically build in wider margins and may lag behind real-time match developments. For this IEM Cologne event, prediction markets tend to adjust faster as Stage 1 matches unfold, while sportsbooks may maintain more conservative lines. Comparing the two reveals whether professional bettors and casual predictors agree on which teams are most likely to go 3:0.

The market resolves on Jul 5, 2026, after all Stage 1 matches of IEM Cologne Major have concluded. Resolution is determined by the official final standings of the group stage, identifying which team or teams finished with exactly three wins and zero losses. Only teams that complete all their Stage 1 matches and achieve the 3:0 record will be counted as correct outcomes. The market will settle based on verified results from the tournament organizers and broadcast records.

Key catalysts include individual match results during Stage 1, which directly impact each team's path to 3:0. Unexpected upsets or dominant performances can shift odds dramatically. Player substitutions, stand-ins, or last-minute roster changes announced before matches will influence market pricing. Team form leading into the event, recent LAN results, and pre-tournament analysis also shape initial odds. As matches progress, each win or loss narrows the field of contenders, causing prices for remaining viable teams to adjust upward and eliminated teams to approach zero value.
