PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms resolve based on actual silver price data during the specified timeframe, with Polymarket using Pyth data for any trading session high/low and Kalshi using a specific close price on August 31, 2026.Primary resolution logic: Pyth for Polymarket; specific 1-minute candlestick close for Kalshi

Core resolution logic:

  • A market resolves to 'Yes' if the silver price reaches or exceeds the specified threshold during the trading week of August 3, 2026
  • A market resolves to 'No' if the silver price never reaches the specified threshold during the defined timeframe
  • Polymarket considers any 1-minute candle high/low during applicable trading sessions; Kalshi considers the close of a specific 1-minute candlestick on August 31, 2026

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Trading: If silver does not trade at all during the specified timeframe, Polymarket markets resolve to 'No'; Kalshi markets would still resolve based on the August 31 close
  • Data Unavailability: If Pyth data is unavailable, Polymarket may use CME COMEX futures daily high/low prices as a fallback
Timing: Resolution occurs after the trading week of August 3, 2026, once all relevant price data is verifiedOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. What will Silver (XAGUSD) hit Week of August 3 2026?

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the closing price of the 1-minute candlestick for silver on August 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM EDT. If the closing price exceeds any specified threshold (from $37.99 to $76.99 USD per troy ounce), the corresponding market resolves to "Yes"; otherwise, it resolves to "No". The settlement value is rounded to the nearest two decimal places. The closing price refers to the price at the end of the immediately preceding one-minute interval—for example, the candlestick timestamped 4:59 PM reflects trading from 4:59:00 PM to 4:59:59 PM and closes at 5:00:00 PM. If no data is published by the specified source agency for the exact time, the most recently available published data will be used to determine the resolution.

The Silver price threshold market dashboard tracks aggregated predictions across platforms for the short_topic. It shows how user sentiment and trading activity evolve over time, giving you a live snapshot of collective expectations. By monitoring this dashboard, you can see real-time updates from multiple venues, helping you spot trends and shifts in market confidence as we approach the key date.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through trader activity that often reflects short-term sentiment and rapid updates, while analyst forecasts may incorporate longer-term economic models and fundamentals. Because prediction markets update continuously based on live trading, odds can shift faster than traditional research reports. This means the current market price may diverge from analyst consensus, offering a complementary view of where immediate market focus lies.

On Polymarket and Kalshi, this market shows different pricing structures because each venue has its own user base, liquidity profile, and fee model. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, differing trading volumes or regional participation can skew odds. Additionally, each platform may attract traders with distinct risk appetites, which influences how probabilities are assessed and adjusted over time.

This market resolves around Aug 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public sources. The final result will reflect whether the defined price threshold is met during the specified week, based on widely reported market data. No further interpretation or judgment is needed beyond confirming the reported price against public records.

Economic announcements, inflation data releases, Federal Reserve policy updates, and geopolitical developments can all shift expectations for silver demand and supply dynamics, influencing this market. Natural disasters affecting mining operations or changes in industrial consumption patterns may also create volatility. Traders will watch these signals closely as they could dramatically alter probability assessments in the weeks ahead.
