Netflix is expected to update its global Top 10 movies list on top10.netflix.com on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 3:00 PM ET, reflecting viewership from the previous week (Monday to Sunday). This market will resolve based on which movie this update ranks as the #2 global Netflix movie. Movies will be primarily ranked by chart ranking. If two or more movies are tied on chart ranking, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the movies' listed titles. This market will resolve to the movie that occupies the second-highest finishing position after applying this ranking. The ranking is based on total views globally, as reported by Netflix for Global Top 10 Movies (English only). If the top10.netflix.com update does not occur by October 23, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".

Currently, it's difficult to directly compare the odds in this market to traditional analyst forecasts, as predictions for the #2 global Netflix movie are not commonly published. However, examining general entertainment industry predictions and box office projections can offer a point of comparison. If analysts widely anticipate a certain film to perform well, we might expect to see increased trading volume and rising odds for that title in this market. Discrepancies between market odds and analyst expectations could signal opportunities for informed traders.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the #2 global Netflix movie for the week is verifiable from credible public reporting. Netflix's official top 10 lists, as published by reputable media outlets, will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome. The resolution will reflect the film that holds the #2 position on Netflix's global charts for the majority of that week, providing a clear and objective determination of the market's result.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Major marketing campaigns or critical acclaim for a particular film could drive increased viewership and, consequently, higher trading volume for that title. Unexpected releases of competing content on other streaming platforms could also shift attention and impact the odds. Furthermore, any news regarding production delays or changes in release schedules for anticipated movies could introduce volatility into this market. Tracking these signals will be crucial for traders looking to capitalize on shifts in sentiment.
