This group asks which movie will be the second most popular on Netflix globally for a specific week. Resolution depends on the official Netflix Top 10 list published on a specific date. The market aims to predict the #2 movie based on total views.
Netflix is expected to update its global Top 10 movies list on top10.netflix.com on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 3:00 PM ET, reflecting viewership from the previous week (Monday to Sunday). This market will resolve based on which movie this update ranks as the #2 global Netflix movie. Movies will be primarily ranked by chart ranking. If two or more movies are tied on chart ranking, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the movies' listed titles. This market will resolve to the movie that occupies the second-highest finishing position after applying this ranking. The ranking is based on total views globally, as reported by Netflix for Global Top 10 Movies (English only). If the top10.netflix.com update does not occur by September 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The event determines whether any of the listed movies—The Whisper Man, Turning Point: Generation 9/11, The Hard Corps, Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, Shrek, 13 Minutes, Anacondas: Trail of Blood, The Angry Birds Movie 2, Shrek 2, or The Last House—will occupy the #2 position on Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies chart for the week ending the Sunday before September 15, 2026. Charts are published each Tuesday, so the market closes at 11:59 PM ET on Monday, September 14, 2026. If exactly one listed movie ranks #2, that market resolves to Yes; all others resolve to No. If no listed movie ranks #2, all markets resolve to No. If multiple listed movies tie for #2, each tied movie’s market resolves to Yes. Netflix has not endorsed these markets, and references to Netflix are purely descriptive.
