Price differences between Polymarket and Kalshi stem from distinct user bases, liquidity levels, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, if one platform has higher volume, its prices may reflect more immediate reactions to news or analytics. Additionally, each venue’s fee structure and interface can influence how traders place bets, leading to variations in implied chances even for the same underlying event.
