On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might see heavier betting from regions or communities more aligned with a particular team, while the other could reflect broader, global sentiment. These dynamics often lead to temporary mispricings or divergent odds until market activity converges closer to the event.
