This set of markets tracks how many rushing touchdowns each team scores in a specific college football matchup. It focuses solely on touchdowns gained by running with the ball, excluding those from recoveries or special plays.
All markets resolve based on the official number of rushing touchdowns scored by each team during the Wake Forest vs Purdue college football game scheduled for September 12, 2026, including any overtime periods. A rushing touchdown is defined as a player scoring by running the ball into the end zone, with specific provisions for fumble recoveries: if a player recovers another player's fumble and scores, it does not count; however, if a player recovers their own fumble and scores, it does count. Successful two-point conversions, regardless of when they occur, are excluded from all counts. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets remain active and resolve according to the final official result. If the game fails to start within this 48-hour window, markets will resolve to a fair price. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own modeling and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the price of that outcome will decrease, indicating higher implied probability. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts leading up to the game. This market provides a unique perspective on the potential outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final number of rushing touchdowns scored by both Wake Forest and Purdue will be sourced from official game statistics. This market will settle based on the total number of rushing touchdowns scored during the official game time, excluding any overtime periods. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics as reported by a trusted sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Injury reports for key running backs on either Wake Forest or Purdue would be significant, as would any changes to the teams' offensive strategies. Weather conditions on game day, particularly rain or wind, could also impact the likelihood of rushing touchdowns. Unexpected news regarding team morale or coaching decisions could also play a role. Finally, large volume trades on Kalshi itself, driven by informed traders, can quickly shift prices and reflect evolving expectations about the game’s outcome.
