This set of markets tracks how many points are scored in the final quarter of a college football game between Wake Forest and Louisville. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams combined during that specific quarter.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Wake Forest vs Louisville college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. For any market, if the collective points exceed the specified threshold, it resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) count toward these markets.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals willing to buy or sell contracts based on their beliefs. If a significant number of people believe the total points will be high, the price of 'over' contracts will increase, potentially moving further away from the initial sportsbook line. It's common to see prediction markets offer a more accurate forecast, especially as the event approaches.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Wake Forest vs Louisville game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official total points scored in the 4th quarter of the game, as reported by official sports data providers. The final score will be used to determine whether the 'over' or 'under' contracts will pay out, based on the market's specified threshold.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries for either Wake Forest or Louisville would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to impact scoring, could also shift the market. Even public sentiment, reflected in social media or expert analysis, can play a role. As the game draws closer, any updates about team strategies or anticipated playing time for key players will likely be reflected in the trading activity of this market.
