These markets evaluate how many points will be scored in the second quarter of a college football game between Wake Forest and Louisville. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams during that specific quarter.
The markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams combined during the second quarter of the Wake Forest vs Louisville college football game scheduled for September 26, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold (ranging from more than 2.5 points to more than 27.5 points) that must be exceeded for the market to resolve to 'Yes'. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the markets resolve to a fair price. Only points scored during the second quarter count toward these markets.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows traders to express their own independent views. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook line is inaccurate, the price on Kalshi will move accordingly. It's common to see discrepancies, particularly before a lot of money has been traded on either side, as the market seeks to find a true probability.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether the 2nd quarter total will be over or under 7.5 points. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price converges towards what the market collectively believes is the true probability. The current price indicates the implied probability of the outcome, and traders can profit if their prediction proves correct.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official total points scored in the 2nd quarter of the Wake Forest vs Louisville game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score will be sourced from official game statistics, and the market will settle based on whether the total exceeds or falls short of 7.5 points. Traders holding contracts on the winning side will receive a payout, while those on the losing side will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Wake Forest or Louisville would likely cause movement, as it impacts expected scoring. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor a run-heavy or pass-heavy offense, could also shift the market. Even significant line movement in traditional sportsbooks could draw attention and influence trading activity on Kalshi. Finally, large volume trades by individual participants can also create short-term price fluctuations.
