Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on internal models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook is mispricing the event, you might see the prediction market odds diverge. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when there’s strong public interest and a lot of trading activity. Analyzing both can provide a more comprehensive view.
