Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s odds are driven purely by what traders believe will happen. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public opinion shifts. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect the true probabilities of an event, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, though sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark for comparison.
