It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to breaking news or changes in player status than traditional sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, with the total value of all shares summing to 1. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants, creating a real-time forecast for the Le Neubourg tennis match.
