Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides. This market, however, allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome, potentially leading to odds that incorporate a wider range of information and perspectives. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, access to information, or simply the dynamics of how each type of market operates.
