This market, like others, can sometimes show discrepancies due to differing information sources and participant motivations. Analyzing these differences can provide valuable insights into the perceived probabilities of various outcomes and potential value bets.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective predictions of traders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing means the odds are constantly updated as new information becomes available or as market sentiment shifts. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is determined by its share price relative to the total market value.
