Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to continuously adjust probabilities based on new information and their own analysis. If there's a significant discrepancy, it might indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn't yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It's worth comparing both to gain a more comprehensive understanding of potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Stoyanov vs Bertea match.
