Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying levels of expertise among participants. If significant differences exist, opportunities for arbitrage may emerge, where traders can profit by exploiting the price difference between the two venues.
