Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, being driven by collective prediction, tends to be more efficient and potentially offers more favorable odds, though this isn't always the case. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, information access, and risk assessments between prediction market participants and sportsbook operators. It's useful to compare both to gain a comprehensive understanding of the expected outcome.
