Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows participants to freely trade based on their own analysis and information. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, they can express that view through their trades, potentially driving the prediction market odds in a different direction. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of information becomes public, as this market incorporates diverse perspectives.
