Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by trader opinions and reflects collective wisdom. While sportsbook odds may initially appear more favorable, prediction markets can sometimes provide more accurate forecasts, especially as more information becomes available and traders adjust their positions. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, as each operates under different mechanisms and incentives.
