Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when there is significant public interest. However, sportsbook odds can provide a useful benchmark for comparison, and discrepancies may present opportunities for informed traders.
