Typically, prediction market odds reflect a crowdsourced assessment of probabilities, often differing from those initially set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the wisdom of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate a potential mispricing or a strong signal about the event's likely outcome. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees, and can change as new information becomes available.
