Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, which can differ from sportsbook odds influenced by house biases or public perception. Sportsbooks typically set initial odds to balance betting action, while this market allows participants to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of confidence in a particular result. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information becomes available.
