Prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own modeling and profit margins, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be perfectly accurate.
