Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of a decentralized market. It's common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks in response to new information or shifts in public opinion.
