Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. However, discrepancies can exist, especially early on, due to differing information or risk assessments. It's common to see prediction markets move more efficiently as new information becomes available, potentially offering value compared to fixed-odds betting.
