Prediction market odds often reflect a different set of information than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the wisdom of the crowd. This means prediction market odds can sometimes diverge from sportsbook odds, particularly when there is significant public interest or disagreement about the likely outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information and adjust prices accordingly, potentially offering different value than traditional sports betting options.
