Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the beliefs of a diverse group of forecasters. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook odds, it could suggest that the crowd believes the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular outcome. It's also possible that different information is being weighed by each group, leading to differing assessments of the likely result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people trade, the price adjusts to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. The current price indicates what traders, as a group, believe is the likelihood of a specific result in the Kamonwan vs Jeong Moon match.
This market resolves around Sep 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Kamonwan vs Jeong Moon match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome is the winner and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will settle.
