On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and express their views, the prices adjust, reflecting the collective assessment of the market. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand; if more people believe Abigayel Vosloo will win, the price of shares representing her victory will increase, and vice versa for Jeong Moon.
This market resolves around Sep 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the officially reported result of the W35 Kyoto match between Abigayel Vosloo and Jeong Moon. The platform will verify the result against established sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. The market will then settle, and traders will receive payouts based on the final outcome and their positions in the market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes in strategy could significantly impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about match conditions or potential rule changes could also cause shifts in the odds. Publicly available analysis from tennis experts, as well as any significant betting activity observed elsewhere, might also contribute to price movements. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of either player's chances of winning has the potential to move this market.
