Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to adjust probabilities based on new information and their own insights. If sportsbook odds heavily favor one player, but volume in this market is more evenly distributed, it could indicate disagreement between the two. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges leading up to the event.
