Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those set by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates insights from individuals with varying levels of knowledge and perspectives. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion. Examining these differences can reveal areas where the market believes a sportsbook may have mispriced the probability of a particular outcome, offering potential value for informed traders.
