Typically, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their books and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by traders' beliefs about the outcome. As more information becomes available – such as player form, injury reports, or weather conditions – both prediction market odds and sportsbook odds will adjust. However, this market can sometimes offer more accurate predictions, especially when a significant amount of informed trading occurs. It’s important to compare both to get a well-rounded view.
