Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individual traders. These traders may have access to unique information or different perspectives, leading to odds that diverge from those offered by sportsbooks. It’s common to see prediction markets move more quickly to incorporate new information, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the likely outcome than initial sportsbook lines.
