Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and often incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals trading on their own beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a player, they can buy 'yes' shares, driving up the price and potentially creating an arbitrage opportunity. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges and public opinion shifts.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome of the Radom tennis match. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular player will win, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the traders.

Any information that alters the perceived probability of either player winning is likely to cause movement in the market, leading to price adjustments and increased volume.
