Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, leading to potentially more efficient pricing.
