Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the views of informed traders. However, initial sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value before the prediction market fully incorporates available information. It's important to compare both to identify discrepancies and potentially profitable opportunities, but remember that this market represents a distinct view based on its participants.
