Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own analysis, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket, driving the odds closer to what they perceive as the true probability. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a large amount of trading volume occurs, and these differences can present arbitrage opportunities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome of the Doldan vs Castro Zunino match. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by the collective actions of all traders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price will fluctuate, reflecting the evolving expectations of the market participants. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand for shares.

The resolution will be based on the official result of the W15 Pilar (moved from San Salvador de Jujuy) match between Heydi Doldan and Michela Castro Zunino, as reported by a recognized sports authority. The platform will verify the result against publicly available data to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event outcome and settle the market accordingly. Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before Sep 16, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or updated match previews could shift trader sentiment.
