On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Monastir tennis match. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and reduces the probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event’s likelihood.
