On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will rise. Conversely, if sentiment shifts towards another outcome, its share price will increase while the others decrease. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the W15 Monastir tennis match between kimia sagheb tehrani and Vanesa Salaiova. The platform will verify the result against established sports data sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders who correctly predicted the result will be paid out according to the final share price at the time of resolution. The market will then close, and no further trading will be possible.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes in playing conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected upsets in other matches within the tournament could also impact perceptions of player momentum. Furthermore, major shifts in public opinion, perhaps driven by social media or expert analysis, could lead to increased trading volume and price fluctuations. Finally, even seemingly minor developments, such as weather forecasts affecting court conditions, can contribute to changes in the market's pricing.
